"It seems very pretty," she said, "but it's rather hard to understand."
*tosses grains of rice*Wishing you many more four year anniversaries and all that.
hmm so i missed two years of your work . need to digg the archive some day . why don't you do a "My-Fave-Posts-till-the-day" kinda post for the benefit of readers like me .
"Nice things!" Anyway, love your blog.
why don't you do a"My-Fave-Posts-till-the-day" kinda postprashant: have thought about it and will try to do it sometime, but the thought of trawling the archives sends shivers down my spine - this blog has more than 950 posts on it, many of which are quite lengthy. Also, I'm scared of the old stuff I might find that I had forgotten all about (and was best forgotten).
Rumman insists you thank him for this. Apparently, he was one of those seer-type people who egged you on to start this blog. Of course, I don't believe him and genuflect heartily.
*throws things at you* Happy anniversary!
happy anniversary and all that....and thankyou for all the fish :)
Shrabonti: fie on you for disbelieving your lord and master. I acknowledged him in my first birthday post.
So NOW will you change the template? Four years of staring at this mint-green almost everyday has affected my eyesight, which wasn't stellar to begin with.
Bagchi: entirely your fault for continuing to visit the blog rather than checking for updates on Google Reader or Bloglines. I've thought about a new template but am afraid it will screw up the manual stuff I've done on the sideboard. Also, We are change-resistant.
agree with Shrabonti, please change the template. I don't like reading through reader because I am curious about the comments (this doesn't mean that i don't find what you write interesting!)in the new blogger you can use "tags" and label your posts. much more scientific and rational way of categorising your posts than putting everything on the sidebar.
been following your blog since long... 950 post phew!.. Best of Luck
Hi Jai,I have been reading ur blog for the past 3 years. It really changed the way I look at life. U provide great detail, very good insight, and ur humor is also very good. I feel very lucky to have stumbled on ur blog. It has been really a great experience. I wish u continue ur blog for the next 100 years.
Does wishing you continue to blog for a hundred years come under the category of saying nice things? Just wondering...Happy bloviversary. May I raise my hand as a fan?
i cane to ur post thr ur film reviews but u dont do them too often now ,i think u do them very well and ur taste in movies is also very "refined" ,so try to write some more about movies
Very cool! I'm a total fan of yours! You are by far the classiest blogger around!
Hey, Happy birthday - ummm, why will blogging be sporadic again?
I choose the third option. Echo Kriss Bass's words. Count me in on your fans' list.- Sangeetha

May I add my hosannas and remind you, like so many other readers, that we'd rather buy your book than many of the others we're already reading.

Congratulations!!Four years ago, This is what was happening in the American Movie world. This is what was getting reported around the world. Some people were talking about Indian Cinema. In this back drop, Mr. Jabberwock, got inspired, weirdly enough by a most irritating parrot green (surely not mint green, Shrabonti?) to write good stuff about good stuff. Much much fun!
Congratulations! I'm still around, just doing more offline writing for a change. Your blog's rocks like it did when I first visited. Keep going!
Grains of rice get in your hair, sometimes get you in the eye ....do not want to blind you (How will we get book & movie reviews then!)cannot genuflect...have a bad knee...need to get to the doctor...am hoping the pain will go away by itself..I'll stick with saying nice things."Nice things"There. I said it. Now back to your reading your wonderful blog, which is one of the few that is actually worth spending hours reading. Unfortunately, I do not get here often enough. Fortunately, I can come any time and read your posts.Hope you blog on...for many more years.
Congratulations! To many more... (now, what can be nicer than that?)
Belated Congratulations ... was a bit ill.Am a regular reader.
