Pups require a home

Dog-lovers in Delhi who would like to provide a home to any of six mongrel pups, please send me an email on the ID on the Profile page. The pups are around a month old, “have very good personality”, as the matrimonial ads say, and are currently residing in the lane behind our house in Saket.

They’ve been well cared for by the local security guards, and we’ve been giving them milk and bread daily, but there’s the danger that they’ll start moving onto the main roads soon and get hit by cars. Please get in touch if you’re interested, or if you know of anyone who is. Here's a short clip of two of the little chaps wrestling.

If you feel like mailing them halfway round the globe, I'll take one.

AND I SHALL CALL HIM SHASHI AND HE SHALL BE MINE AND HE SHALL BE MY SHASHI.

  8. Hmmm...Lemme circulate the news and hopefully, a parent might turn up. I wish there were parents for adoption for animals, like in Juno ;)

  11. If there isn't a humane society nearby, perhaps there is a volunteer dog-rescue group that would post these pups on their website. There must be six people in Delhi who's like to adopt a healthy puppy; the issue is how to locate those six families.

  12. If there is no local humane society to care for these puppies, you should try to find (via the internet) a local volunteer dog-rescue group. There must be six families in Delhi interested in adopting a healthy puppy; you would do a huge service to the pups by making contact and saving them from their likely fate of being killed or injured by a car.

  13. I noticed the word "wrestling". You should also link back the post on your wrestling experience...there wasn't a video then, right? Btw, what happened to that scandalous wrestling photo that wasn't published in the mag?
