Bright Lights #56
The latest issue of one of my favourite online magazines, the Bright Lights Film Journal, is out - 28 new articles, with highlights including this piece on legendary B-movie director Roger Corman, a tour of Canadian popular cinema, observations on a lesser Howard Hawks film, "body language" in the grislier films of David Cronenberg, George Romero and John Carpenter, and write-ups on Colour Me Kubrick and Michael Haneke's Time of the Wolf. Bookmark, read, surf the archives.

I had never heard of this but it seems very interesting; not only the essays themselves but the manner in which the magazine is run.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the nice notice!
