"It seems very pretty," she said, "but it's rather hard to understand."
Warne is a legend, to say the least. Or more. Of course, the "Power of Warne compels you" comment I made on my cricket blog some time back may be a *bit* over the top, but still...The man's just amazing though. He's one cricketer for whom I would put most things in life to the side. During the latter half of the Ashes (when I was in the US), I made it a point to set my alarm for 4 am every morning when a test was on, in order to not miss a ball. I sacrificed several hours of sleep those weeks, but it was all worth it. As far as the King's concerned (and yes, I'll give that title to Warne - Richards takes a back seat to him), it's a dream of mine to see him bowl live. I'm aiming to be at the MCG this Boxing Day, wearing green and hopefully watching my favourite cricketer rip England apart. And maybe I might even try and start up an Exorcistish "Power of Warne compels you" chant. :-)
