Called up Tata Indicom helpline this morning because Net speed was much slower than usual. “Please bear with us for an hour, sir,” said solicitous customer-care executive, “We are updating the Internet.”
Bugger! Just when I thought I'd reach the end of the Internet, they have to go and update it. :-(
BTW, why don't you switch to Airtel's DSL service. I think it's much more reliable (but costly). 256 kbps, guaranteed - well at least that's what I've been getting for the past 2 years.
