I think there was a very minor attempt at mocking (or at least caricaturing), what with the "Aiyyos" and the very premise of a South Indian as an engineering geek - but I don't think SRK could have gone far enough with it, given the need to embrace a pan-Indian audience. Very confused and messed up film on so many fronts.
there was a bit of unintentional humour also...Kareena'a background wasnt disclosed...once or twice she sounded like a typical punju north indian women...otherwise she seemed to have no clue which part of India her character belongs to :-) and then looking at Rajni, she covers her head like Punju women do but looking at a south Indian superstar??? ha ha ha

At last, a film that manages to be insulting to Chinese people, South Indians AND videogame characters.
