But not August posts)
S.G: haven't read the book. So no comments there.
Series: Sucked royally for me. There is absolutely nothing in it that was authentic. Remove the poverty and georgraphy and it could be a hollywood series. There is even a scene, that is directly lifted, or the entire theme directly lifted from crying game. There is a villain who goes into hospital disguised as doctor and how many-many-many times I have seen this scene in western/english movies!!! V.C. was writing a screen play or a novel? Was he thinking in terms of movie scenes while writing?! I had so many WTF moments in this series. The titles of each episode was lifted from Hindu books...yayati, ashwathama....and that makes something authentic!?!? It just added to more ridiculous stuff. Nawaz was so monotonous that it was pain to watch his "perform". There was none. And Radhika was also same...nothing going on...so flat. And the nude boob scene was such as useless scene put to titillate the audience (including the crying game nude scene). It was such a meh...this horror show!!naroophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04144856342866758307noreply@blogger.com
