I don't usually like books in which the story is difficult to identify but keep returning to them because they make connections which one struggles to locate in a relentlessly linear novel. But either form, well written, compliments the reader by gifting him a treasure hunt -- the treasure is those insights that lurk in the crevices of the known.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8204542.post-1137729744520219352006-01-20T09:32:00.000+05:302006-01-20T09:32:00.000+05:30Hi there. Have you seen the size of the thing btw? Remnds me I need to blog about Very Heavy Books sometime.

Vulturo: I used to only read literature from that period myself, it's only relatively recently that I've got into the more contemporary stuff.

Avinash: The reader definitely, but once my first book is done it'll be the writer ;)Jabberwockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10210195396120573794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8204542.post-1117463615510541202005-05-30T20:03:00.000+05:302005-05-30T20:03:00.000+05:30I fully agree with you. What would the world be wit...I fully agree with you.

What would the world be without Saki and Wodehouse. They aren't anywhere close to our world, but are yet so beautiful

My reading tastes are exactly the opposite. I relish reading stories which are set in the 19th and early 20th centuries.Vulturohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06299856658563610448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8204542.post-1117428278626270592005-05-30T10:14:00.000+05:302005-05-30T10:14:00.000+05:30hmm...maybe I will read it after all.. over the we...hmm...maybe I will read it after all.. over the weekend I picked it up and kept it back down..
